Trudeau Corporation was established in Montreal, Canada, in 1889, as an importer and distributor of high-end specialty goods from around the world, under the name Genin Trudeau. Trudeau Corporation soon developed an extensive distribution network along with a reputation for high-quality products and expert servicing.

In recent years, the company has invested in innovation, design and manufacturers products under the Trudeau brand, as well as several private-label brands for well-known U.S. retailers.

Family Heritage

Trudeau Corporation embodies four generations of family tradition and values. Chairman Robert Trudeau, his wife Deborah, and three of his children (Philippe, Anne-Marie and Paul) are actively providing corporate leadership. The company celebrated its 120 year anniversary in 2009.

Trudeau’s U.S. headquarters are located in Woodridge, near Chicago, Illinois, occupying an 116,000 square foot facility, which includes offices, a warehouse and customer service division.  Trudeau Corporation is based in Montreal, Quebec in Canada.

EcoFriendly Commitment

Trudeau is more committed than ever to contribute to the protection of the environment. As a part of its Ecofriendly commitment, Trudeau aims to be a good corporate citizen and has implemented relevant programs that will be sustainable in the future.

The internal Ecofriendly Committee studies and makes recommendations targeting the 3Rs, Reduce, Reuse and Respect, in order to meet our environmental objectives

Here are some of the committee's latest achievements:

  • All our new catalogues are now printed on 100% post-consumer recycled paper;
  • New lighting meets the Eco-Energy standards;
  • Timers and sensors have been installed to control lighting, heating and air conditioning;
  • Cardboard and paper is recycled;
  • Computers, monitors, binders and other office supplies are recycled;
  • Household cleaning and hygiene products have been replaced by environmentally friendly products.

Reusable Thermal Mugs & Water Bottles

Plastic bottles and styrofoam cups Tons of plastic and styrofoam disposables made from petroleum-based chemicals and additives are thrown away every year. Petroleum is not only becoming an increasingly scarce resource, it also causes pollution and toxicity every step of its use - extraction, transportation, refining and production. Plastic and styrofoam are not biodegradable and they persist in the environment for hundreds of years, causing further pollution.

Reducing consumption of plastic bottles and styrofoam cups by purchasing reusable bottles or thermal mugs is a small step that we can all take to help save the environment. Trudeau takes part of this important commitment by manufacturing high-quality BPA free bottles and insulated mugs which can be washed and reused over and over.

Prevention and a Cure In Our Lifetime

Trudeau Corporation continues to support the fight against breast cancer with its gadgets, hydration and thermal products.

Available during October's Breast Cancer Awareness month and throughout the year, this collection of gadgets, hydration and thermal products are designed exclusively for Trudeau's product donation program. They are sold in support of breast cancer research initiatives, as the company will give a portion of all sales of the designated products to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
